Pickled Rat

How would you react if you picked up a jar of your favourite gherkins from your local supermarket to make a salad when you get home and you found a nine inch rat in the jar.

In 2005, Miss Reinders was disgusted to find a dead rat in her jar of gherkins. The newpapers said that Asda looked in to this immediatly and compensated jeanette & her partner. The offered them £100 and a Christmas 'trolley dash'. Source say that the rat could have been collected by mistake in the harvesting of the pickles.

Dead Mouse in Bread

Back in 2009, Stephen Forse was making a tasty sandwich for him & his family when he noticed something in his slice of Hovis ' best of both' bread. On further inspection he saw a dead mouse.  He noticed a something dark in the corner of three slices looking at it more closely he could see that it was a mouse.

The bread company apologized as soon as they heard of the incident but it was too late the company was then find nearly £17,000. Unfortunately the mouse tail was never found.
